Expectations:
- Maintain a positive community.
- Treat all users with kindness and respect. If you have something to say about other peoples' work, make sure it's positive.
- Rely on different administrators for assistance at different times rather than just one.
- Feel free to submit any levels, characters, mechanics, etc. on this wiki, as long as they adhere to our guidelines.
- Please keep all discussions civil. Avoid using unecessary profanity or bringing up off-topic or resolved matters. If you wish to debate issues on a larger scale, please consider using a private method of communication.
- Please do not speak or act in ways that harm the goodwill of this site, the DD community, or its users on other wikis and communities.

The following is a list of penalties for inappropriate behavior on this wiki. Penalties are ranked by the severity of the issue.
Warnings
Users who break rules will often be issued a warning. Here is a list of behaviors subject to warning.
- Being rude to others, unless it's through mutual standards.
- Consistent profanity, especially towards other users. Try to censor or avoid swearing as much as possible.
- Self-promoting your fan content through messaging, editing, announcements etc.
- Having any type of sensitive or inappropriate behavior (that includes discussion about violence (unless it’s referring to the game), self-harm, triggering content, etc.)
- Causing any drama with other people (that includes fights.)
- Mocking people for being banned or receiving penalty.
- Bothering administrators or other members by posting irrelevant or meaningless messages on their talk pages.
- Mock or judge other peoples' work. Penalty may vary based on the severity of the issue.
- Fighting and being involved in drama with obvious trolls here. Trolls want negative attention, so if you give them that negative attention, they will most likely come back and vandalize and terrorize the wiki more often.
- Only admins will block these trolls, so please message them if you see trolls causing trouble.
- Creating spam pages, and pages about real-life people.
- If you see a page of the sort, please use the candidate for deletion template by typing "{{Delete}}" into the page.
- Replying to posts a user made if they aren't active for at least a month.
- This is an English-speaking wiki, so please try to speak English here even if you don't speak it well. Users who post comments that are not in English, and make edits that doesn't have English will have their posts deleted, and their edits reverted.
Bans
While most issues are dealt with through warnings, some may be dealt with by ban without warning. Ban duration varies based on severity. These include:
- Any form of vandalism
- Using other peoples' property without their consent.
- Ignoring/removing warning threads from your message wall.
- Consistent rule-breaking
- Using sockpuppet accounts.
- Uploading/displaying explicit images (sex, nudity, gore, etc.)
- Doxxing (searching for and publishing a user's personal information without consent)
- Piracy (Pirating links of the game and illegally sharing info from GE's YouTube channel by membership will be banned permanently.)
